About this course
This taster introduces the content and style of a lower-intermediate Brazilian Portuguese class, with spoken communication at its centre. Participants practise talking about themselves, explaining their reasons for studying Portuguese, describing past learning experiences, and discussing travel, work and personal plans. Teaching uses pair and group work, role plays and language games, supported by presentations, handouts and audio-visual resources.

Is this course right for you?
The course is intended for learners who have studied Brazilian Portuguese for about two years recently and would like to resume their studies. The Pre-intermediate (A2+) label indicates a level beyond the earliest stages of learning. Participation centres on spoken interaction, including paired and group activities.
