About this course
Participants use the shared studio to work on personal ceramics projects, practise techniques and develop their making beyond a taught class. The session is organised around independent work in a group studio environment rather than structured tuition.

Is this course right for you?
The session is intended for experienced makers and learners working beyond fundamental clay techniques. Entry requires completion of at least one termly course at Morley College, a basic understanding of clay use and agreement to the studio’s health and safety code. Participation is self-directed, with no formal teaching.
- Previous study at Morley College is required for access to the studio
- Learners should be able to work independently on personal projects or technique practice
- A technician is available for support with materials, equipment and safe studio operation
Before you go
- Participants must bring their own apron and tools.
- A notebook and pen may be useful.
- Clay is charged by weight, with bisque and glaze firing included.
