About this course
Participants work as a cast on a scripted theatre production, developing scenes and linked pieces for live performance. Weekly rehearsals combine in-depth scene study with character development, blocking, composition workshops and performance technique. The production is shaped around the ensemble, with directors selecting material and casting to suit the actors involved. Each participant receives a meaningful speaking part and contributes to the final performance.
