About this course

The session introduces global history through selected topics from British, European and world history. It considers how connecting subjects with their deeper histories can shape ways of thinking about the past, alongside different approaches to remembering it across societies. Teaching combines sections of presentation with several group discussions, giving participants opportunities to examine and discuss the relationship between local, regional and global perspectives on history.
