About this course
The course focuses on classical acting and the rehearsal process, with particular attention to Shakespearean text. Participants work collaboratively on scenes from a range of texts, using techniques associated with Stanislavski, Hagen and Meisner alongside classical approaches. Weekly preparation feeds into scene sharing and workshop discussion, allowing participants to examine and refine their rehearsal technique and professional practice.

This advanced course is intended for working actors and actors returning after a career break. Participation involves collaborative scene study, individual preparation and sharing work in a workshop setting. Selection is by application, with applicants required to have either three professional acting credits or at least one year of acting training.
