About this course
The workshop develops classical guitar technique, musical understanding and repertoire through a combination of tutor explanations, demonstrations, individual practice, group work and performances. Participants work on solo and ensemble pieces alongside technical exercises, sight-reading, articulation, expression and stylistic awareness. Discussions and selected digital resources, including recordings, online videos and relevant mobile applications, form part of the wider music study.

Is this course right for you?
This course is intended for intermediate players with around two years’ experience or playing at approximately Grade 4/5 standard. Participants learn in a group, contribute to discussions in English, follow instructions and undertake music-related activities outside class.
- Designed for players working beyond fundamental classical guitar techniques
- Requires participation in both solo and ensemble playing
- Independent practice and course-related study outside class are expected
- Regular attendance and punctuality are required
