About this course
Participants develop observational drawing and painting skills using pencils, charcoal and paint. The course explores still life, landscape and figure or portrait work within compositional themes, alongside approaches to colour and personal methods.

Is this course right for you?
The course is open to beginners as well as learners with some existing experience who want to develop their drawing and painting. Teaching combines demonstrations, presentations, individual guidance, group discussion and appraisals, with learners recording goals and processes in a sketchbook or notebook and individual learning plan.
