About this course
The course introduces hand and foot techniques for playing pop, rock, jazz and Latin drum kit parts. Learners work on steady beats, subdivisions, basic grooves and introductory music reading through verbal instruction and practical demonstrations. Sessions combine group and individual practice, discussions and question-and-answer activities. Participants also perform in front of the class as they apply the techniques and musical concepts covered.
