About this course

The course introduces production techniques used in electronic and urban music. Learners build tracks from the ground up, programming beats and basslines, creating lead and string parts, and working with samples and loops. Teaching combines tutor demonstrations and explanations with practical class exercises and individual tasks observed by the tutor. Topics include arranging tracks, timestretching audio, and applying EQ, effects and compression to shape the final production.
