About this course
The workshop introduces hand-building pottery through step-by-step guidance, tactile clay work and playful exercises. Participants explore intuitive ways to shape clay while working at a relaxed pace in a studio setting. The teaching focuses on the process of making rather than achieving a particular finish, giving learners time to experiment with form and develop an individual ceramic piece.

Is this course right for you?
The workshop is explicitly designed for complete beginners as well as participants with some previous experience. The Beginner label indicates an introductory level, while the step-by-step format is intended to accommodate learners developing their first pottery skills. It is open to adults and children aged nine and over.

Before you go
- Clay, tools and other materials are provided.
- Participants create a ceramic piece to take home.
- Late arrivals of 10 minutes or more may not be admitted.
