About this course
The course develops Spanish grammar and vocabulary through work on modal verbs, verb periphrases and conditional structures. Learners examine future perfect and imperfect forms, then refine their use of the pretérito indefinido, imperfecto, perfecto and pluscuamperfecto to discuss events and narrate stories accurately. Lessons include personalised feedback and are intended to help learners handle a broad range of complex situations with less prompting.
What you'll learn
- Use modal verbs to discuss ability, obligation and advice.
- Form and apply verb periphrases such as llevar + gerundio, empezar a + infinitive and seguir + gerundio.
- Use future perfect and imperfect forms to discuss future actions and hypotheses.
- Construct present and past conditional forms.
- Distinguish between Spanish past tenses when narrating events and stories.
