About this course
The course develops communication through presentations, role plays, paired and group conversations, and discussions of contemporary issues and Italian traditions, including cuisine and art. Learners work with texts, videos and other authentic materials while exploring places of interest through Italian. Activities also cover reading, listening, pronunciation and written communication, including descriptions, instructions and messages. The class uses a workshop format, with particular emphasis on speaking with others and expressing opinions and feelings across everyday topics.

- Read more advanced Italian texts and improve pronunciation.

This course is intended for learners working at intermediate Italian, around B1, who have studied for about two years or an equivalent level. It may also suit learners wanting to brush up and reinforce existing knowledge. Participation involves regular speaking with classmates, and attendance and homework are described as important.
