About this course
The course develops advanced Italian through discussion of current affairs, newspaper and magazine extracts, literary texts, and authentic audio and video. Classwork includes spoken interaction, pair and group activities, role plays, games, presentations and hand-outs. Grammar work consolidates areas such as conditional and subjunctive forms, verb tenses, and advanced uses of pronouns and prepositions. Homework is highly recommended to reinforce class learning, with teaching and learning resources available through Google Classroom.
