About this course
Participants explore figure-making in clay while studying a life model through observation and measurement. Teaching combines step-by-step instruction with group and individual demonstrations, followed by practice on an individual clay figure. The session also includes guidance on handling clay for kiln firing and studio health and safety. Learners receive group and individual feedback as they develop their work.
