The course uses drawing as a way to explore and extend each participant’s personal poetic language. Activities involve working with actors, dancers and musicians, bringing different creative practices into the studio process. It is structured as an exploratory course for artists and creatives of varied abilities, with some drawing experience recommended.

Before you go

• Easels, drawing boards, charcoal, newsprint and masking tape are provided in the studio.
• Cartridge and watercolour paper are provided.
• Learners may bring additional materials for personal use, such as pencils, Conté crayons, pastels, ink pens, coloured pencils, erasers, a sharpener or a sketchbook.
• A full suggested materials list is provided one week before the course begins.
