About this course
Participants develop workplace document skills in Word, including templates, editing tools, formatting, styles and proofreading. In PowerPoint, they consider how audience and purpose affect content and design, then use templates, custom layouts and presentation designs. The course also introduces Excel data handling through formulae and functions, alongside basic Access database functions. Teaching combines step-by-step tutor guidance, individual support and tasks completed independently or with other students. Learners are expected to practise outside class using Google Classroom and its online materials.
