Salsa Improvers and Intermediate

About this course

The class develops salsa dancing through a structured session with a warm-up, tutor-led breakdown of steps and patterns, and a cool-down. Learners work with different partners to practise leading and following, then apply rhythmic movement to salsa music, including styling and improvisation.

Is this course right for you?

The course is intended for Improver-level learners, with some previous experience described as an advantage. Participation involves partner dancing and working with different partners during the class.

Before you go

• Wear comfortable dance shoes and avoid outdoor shoes or trainers.
• Bring water for hydration.
• Learners with particular learning needs are advised to speak with the tutor.
