About this course

This introductory session explores fundamental screenwriting principles and how to develop a script treatment. Participants use guided writing exercises to produce original work, alongside discussion of a film or television scene. Teaching combines an interactive tutor presentation, writing activities and group discussion. The course also introduces resources for continuing screenwriting development. Writing produced during the session may be discussed in an open, constructive workshop setting.
