About this course

Learners develop a short film from initial idea to export, covering planning, pitching, scripting, film language, framing, composition and camera movement. The course also introduces the stages of production and techniques for recording images and sound. Editing is taught in DaVinci Resolve, including basic editing methods and choosing an appropriate codec for delivery across online platforms, networks and festivals. Teaching combines workshops, short lectures, demonstrations, practical exercises, tutorials, handouts, and group and individual assistance.
