About this course
The course extends Spanish grammar through relative clauses, impersonal clauses and present and past subjunctive structures. Participants develop reading, writing, speaking and listening through spoken interaction, pair and group work, role plays, games, presentations, hand-outs and audio-visual resources. Activities include working with authentic listening material and newspaper articles, as well as using a broader range of vocabulary to express opinions and ideas. Homework is recommended to consolidate classroom learning.

This course is intended for upper-intermediate learners, labelled B2.1, who have studied Spanish for about four years recently or completed Spanish 3 upper. It suits learners ready to consolidate more complex grammar before progressing to level 4. Participation includes spoken interaction, pair and group work, role plays and games, with homework recommended.
