About this course
The course introduces static trapeze, also known as fixed trapeze, using a horizontal bar suspended from two ropes. Learners work on and around the stationary apparatus, practising basic aerial shapes while developing balance, agility and strength. It is structured as an entry point to aerial skills, with progression to Level 2 available when teachers consider a learner ready.

Before you go
- Wear comfortable clothing such as leggings or tracksuit bottoms with a T-shirt or vest, and clean indoor trainers. Clothing covering the limbs, such as long sleeves and leggings, is advised for aerial classes.
