About this course
The course establishes foundational principles of Yang-style Tai Chi and Qi Gong, including posture, alignment, balance, breathing and mindful movement. Learners practise simple Qi Gong exercises, explore basic Tai Chi philosophy and develop controlled transitions between movements. Core techniques are revisited throughout the sessions alongside new material. Guided practice leads towards performing the short 8 Form in sequence, with attention to its purpose and safe movement.
