About this course
This guided tasting examines how place shapes wines from the Uco Valley, including vineyards at high altitude near the Andes. The session considers soils, microclimates, intense sunshine and day-to-night temperature changes, linking these conditions with freshness, concentration and purity in the wines. Participants taste a varied selection spanning sparkling wine, Chardonnay, Malbec and fortified Torrontés, alongside Zuccardi Arauco extra virgin olive oil. The format combines tasting with stories about the family’s viticultural history and its focus on expressing distinct mountain sites.
