About this course
Participants work through the stages of creating an acrylic portrait, beginning with facial guidelines, sketching and blocking in the main light and dark shapes. The course then focuses on mixing skin tones, interpreting light and shadow, building form through layered paint and developing facial features. Work continues with refining the eyes, nose and mouth, adding highlights and depth, and making final adjustments. Group feedback and review are included as part of the process.
