What Upper Intermediate (B2) Arabic means

At B2 Arabic, learners can communicate fluently on concrete and abstract topics, develop arguments and respond in detail.

  • Support a viewpoint

رغم أن هذا الإجراء ستترتب عليه تكلفة أولية، فإنه سيفيد المجتمع كله على المدى الطويل.

Although the measure would have an initial cost, it would benefit the whole community in the long term.

  • Discuss an abstract issue

تسهّل التكنولوجيا التواصل، لكنها تثير أيضاً تساؤلات حول الخصوصية.

Technology makes communication easier, but it also raises questions about privacy.

  • Negotiate a solution

إذا مددنا الموعد النهائي أسبوعاً، يمكننا الالتزام بالميزانية من دون خفض الجودة.

If we extend the deadline by a week, we can keep the budget without reducing quality.

These are general examples of language use at this level, not a description of any individual course syllabus.
