About this course
Participants develop a personal project by identifying themes, subjects or questions to investigate and shaping them into a sustained line of enquiry. The course combines experimentation with reflection, encouraging learners to test techniques, processes and approaches that support their ideas. Research into artists, art movements and different cultures informs the work, while consideration of composition, colour and process helps participants make more deliberate choices. Learners also review their developing work, identifying strengths and possible directions for a more coherent body of work.
