Emerging Personal and Professional Practice: printmaking – develop your practice

About this course

Participants develop a focused body of print work from initial ideas, choosing processes such as monoprint, linocut, woodcut, collagraph, drypoint or screen printing according to their intentions. The course emphasises testing and refining imagery through repeated proofing, with attention to composition, materials and technique. Alongside making prints, learners consider their practice in a more professional context by documenting work, organising ideas and preparing for display. Ideas and work in progress are shared with peers, and participants reflect on their practice to identify areas for further development.
