About this course
This exploratory course introduces printmaking through techniques including monotype, drypoint, linocut, woodcut, collagraph, photopolymer etching and screen printing. Participants can use drawing or photography as starting points while investigating how images change through process. The course focuses on mark making, texture, surface, repetition and variation, alongside monochrome and simple colour. Learning is based on experimentation and refinement, with sketchbook use and group discussion providing opportunities to review and develop work.
