About this course
This outdoor workshop introduces ways to find direction by observing natural clues such as the sun, shadows, tree growth patterns and bird behaviour. Tutor-led discussion is combined with guided activities that allow participants to try the techniques themselves. The course also considers how natural wayfinding can be used in urban environments, including parks, and explores orientation without relying on a compass, GPS or phone signal.
What you'll learn
