About this course
The course introduces core flamenco technique through guided practice of posture, footwork, arm and hand movements, turns and coordination. Learners work with a live guitarist to recognise flamenco rhythms and musical cues, linking movement to accompaniment at different speeds. Sessions also cover basic terminology, flamenco’s cultural roots and its global influences. Practical work builds towards performing a short beginner-level sequence with music, combining footwork and arm movements while maintaining clear sound and timing.
