Flamenco: strengthening technique and vocabulary (intermediate)

About this course

Participants consolidate intermediate flamenco technique through structured work on complex footwork, arm patterns, posture, skirt handling and turns. Exercises develop speed, clarity, control and the integration of these elements into set sequences. Live guitar accompaniment is used to explore rhythm, phrasing and musical structure, including how sequences begin and end. The course also introduces flamenco technical vocabulary and considers historical and cross-cultural context to connect movement with tradition and style.
