Italian 3 lower: module 1

About this course

The course consolidates Italian structures while extending learners’ ability to use more complex grammar and language functions. Topics include requesting and providing information, description, opinions, comparisons, and advantages and disadvantages, with practice expressing feelings and discussing past experiences. Teaching focuses on spoken interaction and communication, using pair and group work, role plays, games, presentations, hand-outs and audio-visual materials. The four linguistic skills are developed, with particular emphasis on conversational language.

Is this course right for you?

This Stage 3 course is intended for learners with at least three years of recent Italian study or equivalent language knowledge. The course centres on spoken interaction and includes pair work, group activities and role plays, so learners should expect to participate actively in communication exercises.
