About this course

Participants paint a portrait of a partner, friend or family member using acrylic paints on canvas. The session follows step-by-step guidance from a portrait artist, while allowing room for individual style, personality and humour in the finished work. It is structured as a shared painting activity rather than a formal assessment, with each person producing their own portrait to take home.

Is this course right for you?

The course is intended for beginners and explicitly requires no previous experience. It is designed for pairs of participants, including couples, friends or family members, who will paint portraits of one another during a guided social session.

Before you go

• Canvas, acrylic paints, brushes and aprons are provided.
• A welcome glass of prosecco or a soft drink is included.
