About this course
The course introduces Pilates principles through exercises performed lying, seated, side-lying and on all fours. Sessions focus on coordinated breathing, core engagement, posture, alignment and controlled movement. Exercises are demonstrated with adaptations so participants can work at an appropriate pace and level. Key themes are revisited, with gradual increases in repetitions, coordination, load or endurance. Beginners establish the fundamental techniques, while returning and more experienced learners can refine control and movement quality.
