About this course
The course introduces Pilates foundations through standing exercises supported by the barre and mat-based work. Sessions focus on alignment, posture, core engagement, ribcage placement, pelvic stability and coordination between the trunk and limbs. Exercises and Pilates principles are revisited regularly, with adaptations offered for different abilities and physical needs. Participants practise selecting suitable exercise options while developing greater control and consistency in familiar movements.
