About this course
The course examines how voice and physical presentation affect communication, with activities covering vocal warm-ups, vocalisation, resonance, vocal placement, posture, breathing, gentle stretches, pronunciation, gesture and body language. Participants also practise introducing themselves and speaking to the group. Teaching combines structured exercises, discussion, demonstration and practical work undertaken individually, in pairs and as a group. The course is chiefly aimed at business people, while welcoming other learners interested in developing their self-presentation skills.

The course is chiefly intended for business people, although all learners are welcome. No previous experience is needed. Participation includes individual, paired and group practical work, with vocal and physical exercises requiring willingness to explore how body language and vocal tone communicate.
