What Advanced (C1+) Spanish means

At C1+ Spanish, learners can express complex ideas precisely, understand nuance and adapt their language to different contexts.

  • Qualify an argument

    While the argument is broadly convincing, it overlooks several unintended consequences.

  • Convey nuance

About this course

The course develops Spanish through topics including cities and places, education, leisure, the environment, and Spanish and Latin American cultures. Learners revise indicative and subjunctive tenses, impersonal and passive clauses, and relative phrases while working with dialogues and newspaper articles. Teaching centres on spoken communication, with pair and group work, role plays, games, presentations, hand-outs and audio-visual resources. Google Classroom is used to provide teaching and learning materials, and homework is highly recommended for consolidation.

  • The course is based on units 5 and 6 of Aula Internacional Plus 4, Edición híbrida, published by Difusión.
