About this course
The course introduces foundational Tai Chi and Qi Gong exercises with an emphasis on posture, joint mobility, body awareness and controlled movement. Guided activities combine simple breathing techniques with movement, including weight shifting and balance work. Participants revisit posture, breathing, coordination and safe movement while practising warm-up and cool-down sequences and a short Tai Chi-based movement sequence. Exercises can be adapted for seated or standing practice and are designed for safe practice in a small space.

- Maintain an upright, supported seated or standing posture during guided exercises
- Complete warm-up and cool-down sequences safely by following verbal instructions
- Coordinate basic Qi Gong breathing techniques with movement
- Perform a short sequence of Tai Chi-based movements with controlled range of motion
