About this course

Participants will measure, saw and shape wood into a pendant design, then decorate the surface with silver dots and attach jewellery findings. A second project focuses on making a wooden ring incorporating either a silver line or a pearl. Guided exercises are accompanied by examples of finished work and can be adapted for individual designs. Techniques covered include laminating, painting, liming, texturing and inlay, with time for further experimentation where possible.

  • Apply texture and decorative treatments to wooden surfaces
