The course examines wine production in Chile and Argentina through a comparative tasting. Chilean topics include climate, regional diversity and varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Carmenere. The Argentina section focuses on Mendoza and Malbec, alongside Viognier, Torrontes and Shiraz. Participants taste wines from both countries and consider how grape variety, region and national production shape the styles in the glass.
