About this course
This Advanced (C1+) Chinese course forms part of an eight-course HSK 6 programme. Its themes draw on current affairs, traditional Chinese culture, history and literature, with topics ranging from social change and travel to classic reading, the human body and contemporary issues. Learners develop their ability to discuss social issues and historical events in detail, follow Chinese-language videos and news, and read authentic material such as literature, magazines, websites and newspaper articles. The units are not connected, so the course can be joined from different terms.
