About this course
This course develops French for everyday situations, combining reading, speaking, listening and writing. Learners practise discussing past, present and future events, using the recent past and contrasting passé composé with imparfait, and applying the conditional for hypothetical statements and polite requests. Class activities include role-play, group discussions and work in pairs or individually. Topics include shopping for clothes, booking hotel accommodation, and dealing with medical situations such as pharmacy enquiries and doctor appointments. Vocabulary, sentence structures and verb forms are extended through classroom materials and interactive resources.
