1 Day Wedding Flowers Workshop

About this course

The workshop explores how wedding flowers are planned and constructed, from selecting flowers by role, season, colour and proportion to conditioning them and scheduling the work. Demonstrations are followed by guided making, with participants creating a tight domed bridal bouquet, a matching boutonniere and finishing details such as ribbon treatments. The reception section focuses on table flowers, including asymmetric garden-style arrangements, vase designs, bud vases and candles. Participants also learn how chicken wire designs can be adapted for larger arrangements, with an introduction to kenzan work if time allows.
