About this course

The course focuses entirely on throwing at the pottery wheel. Early guided exercises cover evenly formed cylinders, footed bowls, plates and lidded vessels, alongside repetition throwing and pulling handles and lips. Later sessions introduce glazing and surface decoration before allowing time for individual projects and targeted questions. Teaching combines structured demonstrations and exercises with independent work in a small group.
