About this course
The course introduces core pottery techniques through wheel-throwing, hand-building, mould work, decorating and glazing. After this initial programme of instruction, participants develop their own ceramic projects with guidance from the teacher and the wider group. Teaching is adapted to individual experience and confidence, making the course suitable for learners working at different stages. Classes are held in a studio designed for teaching pottery.
