2 Day Electrical Foundation

About this course

The course introduces electrical principles and installation through a combination of theory and practical tasks. Topics include Ohm’s Law, fuse ratings, cable sizing, earthing and bonding, safety techniques, zone requirements and basic testing procedures. Practical work covers consumer units, ring and radial circuits, standard lighting circuits, two-way and intermediate switching, fused connection units, outside lighting and safe isolation. Learners may also discuss a specific project or building plans with the instructors during the course.
