2 Day Kitchen Fitting

About this course

The course combines demonstrations, discussion and practical workshop tasks to introduce the main stages of kitchen fitting. Participants work with routers, jigs and biscuit cutters, install base and wall cabinets, adjust doors, and cut and fit worktops, cornices and plinths. Sink and hob cut-outs are covered by demonstration. Teaching also addresses measuring layouts, planning and design, interpreting plans, coordinating with other trades, and the appropriate use of tools including plunge saws, power drivers and compound mitre saws.
