2 Days: Experimental Landscape Painting

An all-levels painting course exploring landscape responses through outdoor observation and experimental watercolour and acrylic techniques.
About this course
Using landscape as a starting point, this studio-based course examines how different materials and painting methods can produce varied responses. Weather permitting, participants will make sketches and take photographs outdoors, then use these references for studio work. Sessions introduce wet-into-wet painting, masking fluid, acrylic medium for glazing, candle wax and salt as an added material. The course combines experimentation with the development of individual landscape responses, allowing participants to compare approaches and pursue their own ideas.

Is this course right for you?
