5 Day Tiling Foundation

About this course

Participants learn to plan and set out wall and floor tiling installations, including fixing positions, datums and approaches to obstacles such as sockets, pipes and window reveals. The course combines instruction in tile types, adhesive selection and installation methods with practice using cutting and fixing tools. Topics include dry and wet cutting, forming square cuts and radiuses, fitting tile beading, applying grout and using silicone or caulk for sealing. Templates and profile gauges are introduced for working around irregular areas.
