About this course

This introductory session explores creative writing through guided exercises, writing games and an interactive tutor presentation. Participants will generate ideas, investigate sources of inspiration, and work towards an original piece of writing, which may take the form of a story or poem. Group discussion provides opportunities to discuss creative work and consider ways to develop writing further. The course uses a workshop approach, with writing shared and discussed constructively during the session. It is delivered online and does not set work outside class.
